Cortana
Cortana will neither be available on startup at first instance nor pinned to the Taskbar of Windows 11. Whereas in Windows 10, Cortana appears on first startup as well as pinned on the taskbar.
Desktop Wallpaper
In windows 11, you can’t roamed to Desktop Wallpaper or from device signed in with Microsoft account.
Internet Explorer
Internet Explore will disable in Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge would be its preferred replacement also IE mode will include.
Math Input Panel
Math input panel will also no longer be available in Windows 11. You should install Math Recognizer in lieu of with support of Math input control and recognizer. However there is no changes in Math inking apps such as OneNote.
News and interest is newly introduced feature of Windows 10 and it remains in Windows 11 without any changes. However you will find new widget of this app in Taskbar of Windows 11.
Quick status
Quick status feature as well as all its settings will also not available in Windows 11.
S Mode
S mode will available only for Windows 11 Home edition.
Snipping Tool
Snipping tool was previously available with named Snip & Sketch. But in Windows 11, it will available with new function and style.
Start Menu
Start will completely change in Windows 11. The following are the main changes in Start menu of Windows 11: –
- You can’t change or resize its layout.
- Group name and Apps folder will no longer support.
- After upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Pinned apps and sites will not migrate.
- Live tiles also not available in Windows 11. It will in the form of new widget.
Table Mode
Microsoft has removed Table mode from Windows 11. It will available with new functionality and capability in Keyboard attach.
Taskbar
There is also major changes in Taskbar of Windows 11. The following are the main changes in Taskbar of Windows 11: –
- People app will not available on the Taskbar.
- Some icons will hide and also previous customization will no more.
- Alignment to the bottom of the screen is the only location permitted.
- Customize area will not include the Apps.
Timeline
Timeline will not available. You can get some similar function in Microsoft Edge.
Touch Keyboard
Touch keyboard will not dock as well as unlock keyboard layout on screen size. Screen size should be 18 inches and larger.
Wallet
Wallet is totally removed from Windows 11 features.
